Yes its real (installed in VM just for fun) also no watermark or expiration date:

however ill say again, this is just RTM-escrow build, it will become RTM unless there will be some groundbreaking bug.

no idea, like i said installed in VM just to check basic things (even needed to download Vista just for that, since i couldnt find dvds...). Days when i had Vista on other paritions where over 2-3 months ago :) So even if i would like to check preformance, it wouldnt be reliable from VM anyway, so if anyone else have some inputs regarding this please... maybe i can install Vista back for a week or two, until next Win7 build show up :)

I'll also try this on my dad's pc and on mine too and see how things go. I 'll reinstall Vista until the next build of Windows 7 (which i hope will be the true release candidate) comes out.

Hm something like this:

Quote

The Escrow Build is a build where development halts and developers & beta testers start testing the product for any show-stopper bugs.

It means it is RTM, unless serious bugs appear.

Isn't this old? Escrow and RC builds of SP2 were released a few months back. How is this new?
