Allow more than 2 simultaneous downloads in IE 6
Pretty frustrated needing to wait for the 2 downloads to
complete before you can download a 3rd one. And on top of that, you are hurrying
to get out of the seat?? Well, here is the solution to allow more than 2
downloads in the internet explorer. Please take note, that this setting is not
recommended for those running on 56K modem and also those who are running on
slower broadband(128-256KBPS) and also those who have slow latency rate (Example
are Cable broadband or wireless connection, WIFI-As this would lead to even
slower latency rate, which may mean lost of connection with the download server)
[Latency rate means the rate
at which your isp server talks to the host server which you are going to connect
to..Usually high latency rate is important in games, or if not there would be
game lag!!]
To allow it, do the following:
1. Start Registry Editor (Regedt32.exe).
2. Locate the following key in the registry:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings
3. On the Edit menu, click Add Value (a dword) , and then add the following
registry values:
"MaxConnectionsPer1_0Server"=Dword:0000000a
"MaxConnectionsPerServer"=Dword:0000000a
4. Quit Registry Editor.
